Protocol and consent for intratympanic injection
Main Article Content
Abstract
The intratympanic injection is used to treat cochleovestibular symptoms associated with inner ear diseases such as Ménière’s disease or sudden sensorineural hearing loss. The most commonly used drugs are corticosteroids and aminoglycosides, and recently studies have been published on the use of N-acetylcysteine.
